Terms of service

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country [TODO: minimum age, e.g. 16].
• One account per person, unless we expressly permit otherwise. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You must provide a valid e-mail address for account recovery.

2. Acceptable use

The Service includes player-to-player messaging, chat and public names. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, defame or abuse other players in messages, chat, names or notes;
• post unlawful, hateful or sexually exploitative material;
• use bots, scripts, exploits or multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage or to evade limits;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service.

We moderate content and may review messages, names and reports. Players can block one another, and our moderators act on violations; moderation and administrative actions are recorded in an internal audit log.

3. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the acceptable-use rules, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

4. Virtual items and the game world

Any in-game resources, units, structures or progress have no monetary value, are not your property, and may be reset, rebalanced or removed as part of running the Service or starting a new game world. We may change game rules and balance at any time.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out here: [TODO: liability clause appropriate to the operator’s jurisdiction]. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Governing law
